How long does timber decking last?

How do you fit timber decking?
Begin by measuring the surface where you wish to lay your timber decking boards. Take into account any obstacles that can’t be moved or removed, such as stairs or posts – this will help you to plan how you will position the timber boards.
Once your frame has been fully installed with secure joists, you can begin your starter strip along the edge of the frame. After this, you can begin laying the boards perpendicular to the joists, starting at the outer edge of the frame. Use decking screws to secure the boards in place.
