About Standard Sheets / Pieces

MDF for short or medium-density fibreboard to give its full name is a sheet material that is created by taking tiny fibres of the wood and bonding them with a resin agen with heat and pressure, and the finished product is used for a wide range of purposes including kitchens, furniture, shelving, speaker boxes and decorative work such as skirting boards and architraves along with radiator covers and more. Tradesman and DIY projects use MDF because of its ease to work with and value for money, and its smooth surface is a big plus as long as you take care to sand and seal the product MDF provides a high quality almost perfect finish. Special attention should always be paid to the edges as when they get wet or water-based paint or treatment is applied they can swell and give an uneven finish if not sanded between applications.
