Because composite decking has grooves along the edge for easy installation, you used to have to settle for either a grooved edge or a corner trim to cover the groove. The only other option would have been to use a table saw to trim the board lengthways, but this would result in a serrated edge. Our edge board is designed to overcome this issue by discreetly placing the groove into the underside of the board giving you a nice clean edge to complete your deck.
