In August 2022 we obtained our ‘Bronze’ status with the armed forces covenant. The Company has pledged its support for members of the Defence family, and we commit to honor the covenant and support the Armed Forces community. We recognise the valuable contribution that serving personnel, both regular and reservists, veterans and military families make to the UK Armed Forces, their communities, and the civilian workplace.
We employ a number of people within the Defence Force Category, which are:
- Reservists
- Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (CFAVs)
- Veterans (including wounded, injured and sick)
- Military spouses/partners
Harlow is committed to supporting the fair recruitment for ANY Armed Forces Community member and will not discriminate based on their current status.
We have a policy in place as we recognises the importance of the training undertaken by Reservists and CFAVs that enables them to develop skills and abilities that are of benefit to their respective force, the individual and our Company.
We have become part of a much larger and national community of organisations supporting the Armed Forces
