Harlow Timber Systems Limited is a family-run business established in 1984, specialising in the design and manufacture of engineered timber products for the construction industry. Our objective has always been simple: to provide a personal, professional service that delivers high-quality products at a competitive price — on time, every time.

Over the years, we have developed a strong reputation as one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of timber roof trusses and engineered timber components. Our core products include timber roof trusses, Posi Joists and feature trusses, designed to meet both structural and architectural requirements.

With customers at the focal point of our business, we pride ourselves on practical expertise, responsive service and dependable delivery.

Our History & Capability

Originally trading as H & S Timber Systems Limited from a modest facility in Bagworth, Leicestershire, the business entered a new phase of growth following its acquisition by Harlow Bros Limited in 2001. Investment in new plant and machinery enabled a significant increase in output, leading to relocation to a purpose-built facility in Bardon in 2004.

Continued demand led to further expansion with a second manufacturing plant in Kettering in 2009, followed by major investment in Burton Upon Trent in 2014 to support clients across the Midlands and West. Additional facilities and specialist equipment were later introduced to serve the growing feature oak, spandrel panel and gable panel markets.

Today, Harlow Timber Systems offers a complete engineered timber package — from specialist design through to manufacture, supply and nationwide delivery. Our experience includes housing developments, commercial projects, healthcare, education and office buildings, while maintaining the same high standards for local builders and residential work
