Internal Sales Representative Harlow Bros Ltd - Long Whatton

Position: Internal Sales Representative

Location: Harlow Bros, Long Whatton, LE12 5DE

Salary: Competitive Salary

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours of Work: 8am to 5.15pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm Friday

 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Internal Sales Representative to join our team in Harlow Bros, Long Whatton, LE12 5DE. The Internal Sales Representative is a pivotal role focused on driving sales growth and building strong client relationships from within the organization

 

What you’ll be doing as Internal Sales Representative:

  • Delivering a first class service to customers by promptly and efficiently dealing with customer enquiries on the telephone and via email
  • Accurately inputting orders including site contact details and addresses for deliveries
  • Processing sales orders and liaising with transport and production to confirm delivery / collection lead time for orders
  • Maintaining a manageable sized Customer Ledger – monitoring contact frequency, spends and chasing outstanding quotations and enquiries
  • Accurately collect and record customer information including customer interactions onto the CRM system in order to gain a clear understanding of customers’ requirements
  • Quoting for new business & promote further sales by developing new business relationships with customers and prospective customers.
  • Effectively communicate with customers, managers and colleagues to achieve best price / margin for each order

 

Your Skills:

  • Effective communicator with excellent telephone manner
  • Self-motivated, driven & enthusiastic with a willingness to learn
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment and prioritise workload
  • Knowledge and experience of the timber trade would be advantageous
