FAQs

What is internal cladding for?

Internal wall cladding is known for adding depth to a room. It creates an aesthetically pleasing base, as well as offering thermal and sound insulating properties.

How do you fix internal cladding?

Cladding is generally fixed using nails and timber battens screwed into the wall at intervals.

How do you install internal cladding?

To fix internal cladding you want to begin with a clean, dry surface. If you have recently plastered your wall, ensure it is fully dry before beginning.

Take your cladding and mark the position you want it to be in, if you are installing timber battens first – ensure you have done this and that they are securely attached to the wall. Then, using high-quality nails fix your cladding to the battens.
