Specifications

SIDES AND ENDS: Framework is 50mm x 75mm (2" x 3") at 600mm centres. All sole plates and door posts are pressure treated. At corners the total timber section is 75mm x 125mm (3" x 5") and at joints between walls is 75mm x 175mm (3" x 7"). External cladding is 19mm (3/4") T & G pressure treated weatherboard.

PARTITIONS: Framework is 50mm x 75mm (2" x 3") covered with 12mm (1/2") exterior grade plywood or 19mm (3/4") OSB (Oriented Strand Board). Partition gables between boxes can be closed or left open to allow free movement of air throughout the building.

ROOF: Made in sections with 15mm (5/8") O.S.B (Oriented Strand Board) on 50mm x 125mm (2" x 5") purlins; covering is Heavy Grade High Performance Glass Fibre based Mineralised roofing felt (Green, Slate Grey, Brown or Red). Mineralised Felt Tiles are available as an alternative to our standard felt, and are available in two-tone Red, Green, Brown or Slate Grey. (See pricing for extra cost.) Colour samples available by request. Also, Polyester Coated Steel Sheeting in a "Box profile" and Slate Blue finish (other colours available to order).

STABLE DOORS: Are 7' x 3'8" x 2" thick and made in two parts, with T & G boarding on the outside and 1/2" exterior grade plywood on the inside face. All door ironmongery is galvanised and of heavy quality. Bottom door has a kick-over bolt fitted. Door frames are protected with anti-bite strips to floor level, and to outside of bottom doors.

TACK ROOM DOORS: Are Framed, ledged and braced doors with a 5 lever BSS insurance lock and furniture. 6'6" x 2'9" solid core external flush door are available on request.

WINDOWS: Joinery made in two parts with top half opening inwards. Windows are glazed with clear glass and have strong galv. steel protection guards fitted.

RAINWATER GUTTERS: Heavy Duty PVC gutters with appropriate downpipes can be included to both sides of building.

FINISH: All external cladding, sole plates, doors, windows and barge boards are pressure treated in our own treatment plant, to BS4072, and give a pleasing mid-brown finish.

All timbers used are good quality joinery grade European softwood. All timber sizes shown are nominal - before planing.
