HARLOWS have been designing high quality stabling for more than 75 years, based upon our own personal knowledge of horses and being proud owners of several winners ourselves.

Harlow Quality
Continuous development throughout our long history has ensured that the quality of our buildings continues to be the foundation of our success.
Because all Harlow products are produced in-house, we are able to ensure consistent quality control over all stages of manufacture from importing the timber to delivery of the finished product.
Our expertise as timber merchants and building manufacturers means that we are able to specify and produce the most suitable materials to fit each customer's needs. Detailed working drawings are produced on our CAD system for each range of stables. It is because of Harlow's attention to detail and build quality that so many of our buildings are still in use after many years of service.
Harlow Bros only use good quality European joinery grade softwood that is selected from Scandinavian sawmills. This is then machined in our own sawmill cut to size and treated. All exterior timbers including external cladding, doors, windows and frames and bargeboards are pressure treated against decay and insect attack. This gives the timber a long lasting protection that is fixed in the timber and is completely harmless to both humans and animals. After treatment the timber is dried to a suitable moisture content for manufacture to ensure that it remains stable in-situ.
Ventilation is an important factor in loosebox design. Harlow Bros have experience in designing and manufacturing timber buildings for a wide range of agricultural buildings as well as stabling. Harlow boxes allow for maximum ventilation ensuring that the boxes are dry and airy without creating a draught.
Brochures and colour photos are all very nice, but are no substitute for the real thing. We at Harlows are proud of our products, that is why we invite any prospective customers to visit our works to discuss their proposals with our experienced staff and to see the quality of the buildings for themselves. Alternatively, we are usually able to arrange inspection of our boxes in your area.
