Harlow Bros imports Masonite I Beams directly from Sweden. Maufactured by the Swedish company Masonite Beams AB, which is part of the Byggma Group. In 2008 the company opened its new I Beam manufacturing facility after four years of research and development, with an investment in plant alone of 10 million euros. The capacity of this new plant is 24 million linear meters of I Beam per year.

Harlow Bros purchase the joist in packs cut to pre cut lengths of up to 13.5 metres, then recut to the exact sizes required by the customer. They are then stacked together, banded and wrapped to form a complete kit, these are wrapped sufficiently to prevent any weather damage occuring. A second ancilliary pack will be made up containing all the loose timbers to complete the job. All the ironmongery will be boxed and marked accordingly.
